June 2012 Desktop Calendar Freebie

I decided to make my own desktop calendar this month. But I feel so sorry to have forgotten some PS tricks that I used to do when I digiscrap. I blame it on myself for not practicing them for a while. But I remember making some notes about them and keeping bookmarks so I will have to check them out when I get the chance. Anyhow, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Thanks to the pretty mini kit I used, and the lovely alpha too!

Sweet June Rain & Banana Split

The month of June has finally arrived. It's been raining for the past few days here and I'm not sure if it means that the summer season is over. I hope not! Val and I are still planning to spend a couple of days of our anniversary month in the beach. Yep, we're married for 2 years already. How time flies, doesn't it? God is truly kind to bless us with so much love and happiness from the moment He united us under His church.

To celebrate the 1st day of June, Val and I shared a very sweet treat. No! Actually, we just had some really yummy bananas and chocolate syrup that would expire not long from now so Val went to buy ice cream so we could come up with banana split.



I don't have a sweet tooth nor am I a fan of ice cream, but if you rarely eat them, they can actually become pretty delicious. And it is best shared with someone you love!

Before the month of April passes by, let me share with you at least my desktop calendar. Val and I have been away for too long without an internet connection, thus the long overdue post! Anyway, here's a lovely one from shabby princess and the shabby shoppe team.



The photo I inserted was taken quite recently.. the day we arrived back here in Cebu. It's good to be back!

March 2012 Desktop Calendar

I can already feel the summer heat, especially at night. These days, I often think about going to the beach, and it's only March! That's why I've chosen a summer bright desktop calendar for this month.



The photos I chose for this calendar were taken during our trip to Logos Hope, the largest floating "book fair" in the world!

I found the perfect desktop calendar wallpaper for our most recent photo!



Val and I were lounging after a long day of serving and entertaining guests during the annual patronal fiesta in my mom's hometown. I guess, you can tell we were both tired... but definitely happy!

January 2012 Desktop Calendar

Hi!!! I know I've been MIA for a while and have been lazy when it comes to digital scrapbooking. Sadly, I haven't completed my 365 project last year. However, I'll just keep working on it whenever I have time to spare. So, even if I was away, I still managed to change my desktop calendar for the past few months. I just failed to share them with you. Here's what I had since September 2011.

That photo of me and Val were taken in the airport, I think. Yeah, we've been traveling a lot. Actually, just between Iloilo and Cebu. The cute calendar is from TheShabbyShoppe.com.

Just had the right pic to match the halloweenish desktop calendar by Leelou Blogs. It was a fun halloween eve at the beach with friends!
